3 things make Thansgiving for me

So I ended up spending pretty much all day yesterday either lounging in a bubble bath or immersed in the book I’m devouring (surprising because I can usually read a book in less than a day). As a result, I spent much of today cooking my three Thanksgiving necessities: turkey, wild rice & sweet potato pie. I’m now trying to patiently wait for it to cool down so my fresh whipped cream (with just a splash of bourbon) doesn’t melt all over it.

One of the nice things about being completely on your own is that you can take extended vacations and no one gives a shit. I don’t have anyone complaining that I will be gone too long, that they will miss me, or that will even give a crap if I make it back at all should my complete lack of caution catch up with me one of these trips.

So, with that, I’m outta here. Most of the people who follow me on here seem to have abandoned tumblr a long time ago. There are some things in the queue for those of you who are still around. Otherwise I should be back in just under a month.
